This is the number to call first if a prescription was refused, a shipment did not arrive, or you were dropped from coverage.

Prime Therapeutics: 833-604-0925 for ADAP direct medication services and enrollment. CVS Specialty Pharmacy: 800-498-2037 or 800-238-7828 for ADAP shipments[3]. Have your date of birth, your county, and your prescription name ready — it shortens every one of these calls.

Enrollment paperwork, income documentation requirements, and the current ADAP formulary all live on FL DOH's ADAP pages, and county health departments process applications[2]. If you lost ADAP coverage in spring 2026, you do not have to wait for a letter — call and re-enroll.

National lines worth keeping in your phone

Trans Lifeline: (877) 565-8860, Mon–Fri 1 p.m.–9 p.m. ET; press 2 for Spanish[6]. For clinicians: Perinatal HIV Hotline 1-888-448-8765 is 24/7; the Clinicians' Warmline 1-800-933-3413 runs 9 a.m.–8 p.m. ET weekdays; and PEPline 1-888-448-4911 is not 24/7 — occupational exposure 11 a.m.–8 p.m. ET daily, non-occupational 9 a.m.–8 p.m. ET weekdays[4].

Beyond the phone: legal help, intake, and data

Lambda Legal — Southern Regional Office: 404-897-1880, covering Florida. Ask for the Legal Help Desk; it handles inquiries involving sexual orientation, gender identity, and HIV[7]. Lambda does not publish a single national help desk number, so the regional office is the right call.

Before you call about medication: what changed in 2026

One sentence of orientation saves a frustrating call. Florida's ADAP was cut and then restored during 2026: eligibility dropped from 400% to 130% of the federal poverty level on March 1, 2026, roughly 16,000 people lost coverage, a $30.9 million bridge measure (HB 697) restored the 400% threshold through June 30, and the FY2026-27 budget signed June 29, 2026 added $75 million and set a 21,000-person cap on direct-dispense enrollment[11][12].

What that means on the phone today: eligibility is back at 0–400% FPL for direct-dispense medication assistance, Biktarvy and Descovy returned to the formulary on July 1, 2026, and premium assistance is no longer provided — do not count on help with insurance premiums[3].
